“Please Be Friendly” was originally a phrase on a sticker which Matthew Stuckey distributed while backpacking in 2005. The cheerful phrase stuck and he became known as “Be Friendly” in art and design circles.
Be Friendly the design studio is highly creative and works across disciplines; art direction, branding, interior design, product design, illustration, custom typography, curated projects, large scale public art… and whatever else seems like a fun and useful way to spend our time.
Be Friendly proudly does a lot of work with smaller businesses, start ups, NPO’s and the arts/creative community; investing our creative energy and experience into people and brands that we believe in.
